Biography
Sue Pongratz earned her Bachelor's Degree in Health Science from Oakland University and started her career in wellness as Director of Health and Safety Promotion at Guardian Industries. Later, as a Certified Personal Trainer and Assistant Manager, she helped LifeTime Fitness open its first clubs in Michigan. In 2000, Sue founded Custom Fit Personal Training. Since then, she has earned Certification as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and helped many individuals break free from pain. Sue has worked with clients of all ages, goals, and starting levels, especially those that are nervous about going to the gym or confused about where to begin. During the Covid Pandemic, Sue did Outdoor Fitness Programs for children using creative games and activities to make fitness fun. After the pandemic, she earned her Certification as a Health Coach through the American Council on Exercise and became a Certified Nutrition Specialist through Precision Nutrition. Sue is a breast cancer survivor on her own health and fitness journey. She has been through life's struggles and understands the challenge of making time for yourself. She has experience with food allergies and intolerances, Type 1 Diabetes and Type 2 Diabetes, clients with Traumatic Brain Injury, blindness, and other chronic disease.
